Physical and Emotional Pain Linked

"This is going to sound strange, but it all made sense to me once we figured out the problem energetically. I had an earache. I had been to the doctor and was taking medication for it. For whatever reason, Dee had some extra time after the massage and did energy work on my ear. I knew there had to be a reason beyond just an infection. As she was sending energy, I began to see a diamond in my ear. I had no idea why. I asked Dee, and she said that energy work communicates with us through symbols or images. I figured it out - I had been spending a lot of time helping a relative with his relationship with his partner. It was horrible for me. I kept helping and helping and he wouldn't listen. He kept his usual denial. Well, I think that diamond was symbolic of this being a 'hard thing for me to hear. Diamonds are known as the hardest gem. That made sense to me. I think I gave myself this earache because I was hurting myself by overextending my energy towards him instead of myself. And I was also hurting my kids because I was spending less time with them.
